The papers document his career as an educator through correspondences correspondence journals with friends, family, and colleagues; lectures, journals, manuscripts of works, and other writings; teaching files for various university courses on different subjects in art history; resumes, awards, naval career documents, and other professional activity; scrapbooks of clippings from his service during World War I and scrapbook materials spanning his entire career; clippings, newsletters, books, and other printed material; sketches of furniture and set designs for plays and other artwork; photographs, albums, slides, and negatives of Scott and of his artwork.
